Do you like to experiment with food in the kitchen? Try this watermelon salad, which we hope will appeal to both adults and kids. But its ingredients are mainly found only in the summer season. For its preparation will need:
– medium-sized ripe watermelon;
– 3-5 tbsp. l feta cheese;
– A handful of pecans (100g);
– small fresh cucumber;
– half a teaspoon of dried sumach;
– 1/2 lemon;
– 3-4 tbsp. olive oil.

Salad with watermelon and feta recipe
Cut the watermelon from the center of the fruit into 6-8 pieces in the form of “boats”. Cut off the flesh from the peel (along the peel) along with the seeds. Cut it into small slices. Peel nuts, fry in a dry frying pan, sprinkle with a small pinch of salt for about 2-3 minutes. Crush into small particles in a mortar. Pecans can be replaced with walnut kernels. Peel the cucumber, trim the seed part (it will not be needed later). Cut it into small cubes.
Combine the watermelon slices and cubes of cucumber in the salad bowl, slightly salting the composition. Crumble the feta cheese on top of the salad. Season with a pinch of dried seasoning of sumach (can be replaced with crushed dried lemon peel). A few sprigs of peppermint cut with a knife and put in the salad bowl to the remaining ingredients. Pour some olive oil on top.
Press the lemon onto the cutting board with your hands and roll it so that it can be easier to squeeze juice from it. Cut into two halves, squeeze the juice from one half over the top of the salad. Stir everything with the utmost care and serve. Salad with watermelon and feta is ready! Bon appetit and pleasure!
