Onion Soup For Weight Loss

This slimming soup is very beautiful and light. Try it for dinner or lunch.

We will need:

  • 2 – 2.5 liters of water or lean chicken broth;
  • 2 – 3 pcs. onions;
  • 2 – 3 leek stalks (white part);
  • 2 tablespoons of butter;
  • 1 carrot;
  • fresh greens: parsley, dill.
  • How to cook onion soup?

    Cut onions and leeks in neat rings and fry in butter, pre-melted in a frying pan. Boil water or boil the broth, bring it to a boil. Put the fried onions, peel and chop the carrots, add to the same place.

    Boil for half an hour, then sprinkle with fresh chopped greens, salt and pepper to taste. You can mix in a blender until uniform – as someone more like it. Serve with dried bread or crackers!
