Today we are preparing a simple and delicious chicken pie – ideal if you are on a diet. Excellent solution for a festive dinner, and for the daily table. There will be no indifferent, try it! Cooking time – 30 minutes.

  • 1 onion
  • Flour (preferably wholegrain)

  • A teaspoon of cooking oil (but preferably no oil)
  • Natural yogurt or low-fat sour cream
  • Spinach or other greens
  • Grated cheese for decoration (optional)

    Step 1.Put the minced meat in a bowl, add 2 eggs, mix. Add the finely chopped onion, pour in the milk, mix. Add flour, salt and spices, mix again. Add more flour or more milk, if necessary, focusing on the consistency of the “dough”.

    It is necessary to form pancakes, spreading the mass on the pan with a spatula or spoon, forming cakes with a diameter of up to 15 cm. Fry pancakes on both sides, adding a drop of oil, but preferably not. When all the cakes are ready, let them cool and cook the filling.

    Step 2. Filling. Fry finely chopped onion and grated carrots in a frying pan. To do this, take another skillet or wash the first one – you cannot fry it with old oil. When the vegetables are fried and cool a little, start shaping the cake.

    Step 3. Layer on layer. Take a flat plate of large diameter and put one cake on it. Smear it with yogurt, put a layer of filling (fried onions and carrots), put spinach on top, put a pancake on it again and then in the same sequence. When all the ingredients run out, decorate the cake with grated cheese and chopped greens, but you can without it.

    Chicken breast protein cake is ready! You can eat right away if you let the crust and the stuffing cool, but it’s better to send the cake to the fridge for a couple of hours to get soaked.
