Eggplant Cutlets Cooking Instructions

Tired of beef and pork? Do you want light, but delicious food? Try the eggplant patties with cheese and herbs. You can cook them quickly and easily. Cutlets can be fried until brown crust, and then bake in the oven, and you can do without frying at all – as you like or as you used to. Calorie value fried dishes will be slightly higher.

Tasty eggplant cutlets are not inferior to meat. They are very nourishing and dense. You can serve with a side dish or vegetables, a spoon of sour cream, pea or mashed potatoes.

    In the original recipe, pre-chopped eggplants should be fried in oil and then extinguished under a lid for 20 minutes. But if you lose weight, you can boil the vegetables.

    After the eggplants are ready (they should be soft, but not able to gruel), add a bunch of chopped parsley to them, salt and mix. Add to the total mass of grated hard cheese, raw egg, pre-soaked bread in milk, garlic passed through a press, aromatic herbs, seasonings and pepper to taste. Knead minced meat until smooth (if it is watery, you can add breadcrumbs).

    Carefully shape the medium-sized cutlets, put a small piece of soft cheese inside each one, make cutlets and roll in breadcrumbs. Fry in a heated frying pan on both sides in a small amount of oil.

    Complete cooking in the oven. Put the cutlets on a baking sheet covered with parchment and bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown. The temperature in the oven should be about 180 degrees. The dietary option is baking without roasting, which we mentioned at the beginning. Baking time in this case is slightly increased, but not more than half an hour, otherwise the cutlets will be dry.
